Seminar held on 1 October 2020 at the invitation of The Ambassdor of Colombia and the Head of sustainable impact from CCRS where PhD candidate Douglas DaSilva presented his field report on The Impact of Desertification on the Livelihood and Health of the Wayuu Indigenouns People of La Guajira, Colombia

The aim of the presentation is to report on the research being conducted in the northern most territories of the La Guajira department of Colombia, a place where droughts and human influences are furthering land degradation and the process of desertification, affect the livelihood and health of the Wayuu indigenous people dwelling in the region.
